Very good, almost great Jun 27, 2007

These bibs are very well constructed of high quality, thick, fluffy terry fabric, nice and big, and with enough velcro to fasten well without becoming difficult to remove. In common with all velcro fastening items, when washed in very hot water and dried in a hot dryer, the velcro deteriorates after a dozen or so trips to the laundry. This is a fault of all velcro-fastened washable items. What is needed is a heat-resistant velcro. This is not a criticism of this item, only a suggestion for improvement. The bibs serve their purpose well, just don't last as long as they would if the velcro would stand up to laundering.

These terry cloth bibs work very well for my Mom who is 80. They are washable and cover a large area.
Works great on invalid Aug 13, 2011

Works great on an invalid, or even on someone who is a bit sloppy eating or performing some kind of messy task. Ordered several sets and they kept many a shirt in wearable condition. It's a lot easier to change a bib then clothing. I no longer have a need for the bibs but I gave some to two friends and kept a few for myself. Want to note that they are generous in size - both in width and length and they washed up nicely and did not fray. Would certainly recommend them.

By Lynne I bought these bibs for my dad who has Parkinson's, and they've been great for him. Some bibs with plastic liners crinkle up when washed and then are permanently misshapen. These terrycloth bibs are soft, large enough to cover his chest and reach down to his lap, and long-lasting as well. (We've had them over a year now.) They wash up nicely and can be washed and dried with towels. Just be sure to close the velcro before washing so that it doesn't snag on other items. Having one dozen of the bibs on hand is wonderful and cuts down on the number of loads of laundry we have to do since he can go several days before running out.
